I offer an integrative style that draws on therapeutic massage, structural bodywork and trigger point therapy. Many of my clients come to me with work related pain associated with computer use and/or repetitive motions, migraines and posture related aches and pains. They find relief from the discomfort and you can too! You can feel confident the session will be tailored to fit your individual needs.

Andy is a certified and
licensed massage
therapist specializing in
pain relief through
therapeutic massage,
structural bodywork and
trigger point therapy at
her private practice in
San Francisco, CA.

Her style flows between the edgy manipulation of soft tissue and soothing, restorative bodywork. Using an intuitive and intelligent approach, Andy's style speaks to
the bodies' inherent resilience and desire to
move toward balance and alignment.

By releasing holding patterns that are no longer serving us, we can expand and reach our full potential.

Andy's intrigue and passion for massage is rooted in her fundamental curiosity about the human body and how things manifest somatically, her education from the Florida School of Massage in 2005 and her continued education, with many reknowned and prestigious teachers, in a variety of massage modalities including injury specific myofascial release and trigger point therapy, postural analysis as well as subtle modalities like ortho-bionomy, craniosacral therapy, reiki & Ayurveda.

In other news, you all know I am constantly growing and incorporating moving cups into most of my sessions these days. The effects of cupping are undeniable and clients are telling me they LOVE the results when blended with an Andy Blum Massage!

The vacuum suction of the cup pulls up and separates layers of fascia, loosening adhesions & trigger points, while bringing blood in to promote healing and get lymph flowing. This technique is wonderful for loosening IT bands, lower back pain, knee pain, rotator cuff injuries and for all those computer related aches and pains too! It is also detoxifying - which is always a perk in my book! It gets things MOVING!

So, go ahead and kick start this fall with a session of bodywork. Afterall, YOU DESERVE TO FEEL GOOD!
